-         I would like to choose my dress that would be comfortable and suitable to my personality. It may be simple or western or reasonable or costly or ordinary or branded. I think our inner feeling or comfort is more important than other things.

-         (i) Divide the class into groups. Discuss the role of costumes in enhancing your personality.

-         Clothes play very important role in our personality. People judge a person by his/her clothes. Our clothes must be suitable to the occasion. Suitable cloths help to increase our confidence level. In addition to good clothes our inner feelings, other personality traits play a vital role to enhance our personality.

-         (ii) State whether you agree or disagree with the following statements and discuss the reasons.

(a)           A simple dress makes one’s personality look dull.

-         Disagree,

-         We should not judge a book by its cover. A person’s knowledge, his social behaviour, his way of talking and his attitude play major role in his personality.

(b)           We should not judge ourselves from the comments we receive from others.

-         Agree.

-         Fault finding is a human tendency. The people go on commenting but we should stick to our beliefs and ignore the comments.

(c)            A fashionable and costly dress makes you rich, intelligent and beautiful.

-         Disagree,

-         Being rich and intelligent depend upon our hardwork. Beauty is the gift of God. There is no connection between being rich, intelligent and beautiful and fashionable and costly dress.

(d)           We should choose a dress according to the fashion rather than our choice.

-         Disagree,

-         If we choose a dress according to the fashion rather than our choice, we will be restless and uncomfortable and lose our confidence.
